HCIV is a new major program in Human Computer Interaction and Visualization. The aim of this initiative is to establish a study and research program that will combine the knowledge of both the science and the practice in the fields of Human Computer Interaction and Visualization.
One of the main steps in organizing this program is a workshop series with world-renowned experts in the fields of Human Computer Interaction and Visualization.
Since 2009, HCIV is an official working group (WG 13.7) of the IFIP Technical Committee on Human-Computer Interaction (TC13). In addition, since that time many HCIV workshops have been aproved as official IFIP events.
